IRMACS Centre

Welcome to the IRMACS Centre

Established in 2004 (originally funded by , , and ), the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in the Mathematical and Computational Sciences (IRMACS) is a unique, interdisciplinary research facility that enables collaborative interaction - intellectually, physically and virtually. IRMACS focuses on facilitating the human interactions that are critical in interdisciplinary research, removes traditional boundaries between scientific disciplines, and creates a stimulating environment for its researchers. It provides a versatile, computationally sophisticated infrastructure for scientists whose primary laboratory tool is the computer. Whether on-site or around the world, IRMACS Centre researchers enjoy innovative, expert technical support and state-of-the-art computational, data storage, visualization and communication resources.
